Advertising on Our Website
Ads appear on FameInsightHub to help cover the costs of running and maintaining this site, hosting, research time, and everything else that goes into keeping it updated.
We try to be upfront about how our advertising works so readers know exactly what they’re seeing and why. Ads are always kept visually separate from our editorial content, so it should be obvious what’s a paid placement and what’s actually our writing.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display ads across the site.
Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits here and on other sites you’ve browsed. AdSense generally shows ads based on your browsing behavior and the kind of content you tend to engage with, or avoid.
These ads are served by Google and its network of third-party advertisers. Google may collect information about your visits, both on this site and elsewhere, to show ads it thinks are relevant to you. We don’t have direct control over which specific ads show up on any given page, but we do keep an eye on the kind of content we’re comfortable running alongside our articles.
Third-Party Advertisers
Right now, Google AdSense is our main advertising network. We may bring in other advertising partners down the line, and if that happens, this policy will be updated to reflect it.
Personalized Advertising
Ads you see here can be personalized based on things like:
Your browsing history and general interests Your approximate location What you’re currently reading on the site Past interactions with ads Information passed along from advertising partners or data providers
The idea is that the ads you see relate to entertainment, celebrity news, and similar topics you’re already interested in, rather than being completely random.
Opting Out of Personalized Ads
You’re free to limit how personalized your ads are. A few places to do that:
Google Ads Settings Network Advertising Initiative Digital Advertising Alliance
Worth noting: opting out doesn’t mean ads disappear, it just means the ads you see won’t be tailored to your browsing habits.
Affiliate Marketing
Some pages on this site may include affiliate links, for things like books, merchandise, streaming services, or other products tied to the celebrities and topics we cover. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
We only link to things we think are genuinely relevant to the article, not just whatever pays the highest commission. Any affiliate relationship will be disclosed clearly on the page it appears on.
Sponsored Content
We occasionally work with brands or partners on sponsored posts. When that happens, it’ll be labeled clearly, something like “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” or “Paid Partnership,” so there’s no confusion about what you’re reading. Sponsored content doesn’t change how we cover a celebrity or a story elsewhere on the site.
Advertisement Standards
We hold ads on this site to a certain standard. We don’t knowingly allow ads that:
Contain false or misleading claims Promote illegal activity Are inappropriate for a general audience Clash badly with the tone of our content Show excessive violence or explicit material
Ad systems are largely automated, but we do check the site regularly. If you come across an ad that seems off, we’d genuinely appreciate you letting us know.
